Gabriel Salas started his Wall Street career in 2000, as an emerging markets sell-side equity research analyst at Bear, Stearns. Since then, he has worked at energy-specialist asset manager Ecofin as portfolio manager for its long/short and long-only emerging market strategies in London, and subsequently as corporate executive for emerging market companies controlled by the private equity arm of Eton Park. In the early 2010s he returned to NY to build the Latin American equity research utilities team for JP Morgan, and then as CIO for private equity investor Inventive Asset Management. He joined the Lime group in 2022 as an advisor for the development of its Limex fintech platform, particularly developing investment strategies and Ai-powered analytics tools for its users. He graduated with an BSc in Electrical Engineering and MSc in Theoretical Physics from Catholic University in Santiago, Chile, and has been a CFA charterholder since 2003.
